Rocky Mountain National Park is located in north central Colorado, west of and in between the cities of Fort Collins and Boulder, Colorado.
By Automobile
Use the following directions for accessing the park during summer months.
From Denver and the East
- Take U.S. routes 34 or 36 through Estes Park, Colorado.
From west or South
- Take I-70 to U.S. Rt. 40.
- Take Rt. 40 to U.S. Rt.34 through Granby and Grand Lake.
